Overview:
Your So-Cal Teardrop Trailer is an "American Made", aerodynamic, go anywhere, compact trailer designed to provide comfortable cooking and sleeping quarters for two people in any camping environment. Our design is uncomplicated, solidly built and truly reminiscent of a simpler time when craftsmanship was highly desirable.


Safety:
Before towing your trailer, always securely mount the tongue coupler to ball hitch with coupler latch, pin, pin clip and safety chain. Plug in electrical connection and check running lights, turn signals and brake lights for proper connection. Always disconnect propane canister from stove supply line when closing galley hatch or sleeping. To reduce risk of damage or injury, always follow warnings listed below.
 

Warnings:
-Always make sure that your Teardrop Trailer is properly connected to your vehicle when towing.
-Never tow your Teardrop Trailer with the swivel jack in the down position.
-Never tow your Teardrop Trailer without securely attaching safety chain.
-Never carry passengers in your Teardrop Trailer when towing.
-Always use stovetop windscreen while operating burners.
-Remove stored items from galley hatch "Closing Line."
-Always close and lock doors, galley hatch and windows when towing.
-Make sure that the stabilizer jacks are locked in the "up" position before towing.
-Exercise caution when opening galley hatch after towing (stored items may have shifted during transport)
-Secure any lose items in cabin to avoid damage ti cabin interior.
-Never overload your teardrop. (GVWR 1499lb maximum, 2000lb if equipped with brakes).
-Always maintain proper tire pressure.
-Follow all posted speed limits when towing your Teardrop Trailer. (Speed limits vary - state to state)
-Before towing your Teardrop Trailer, check your vehicles towing capacity.

Operation:
With a two-inch ball mounted on your vehicles tow hitch; set your Teardrops coupler down over the ball and close coupler latch. Insert latch pin and secure with latch pin clip.

Run your safety chain through a chassis or hitch member, and lock with quick link.

Plug your seven pin - male pig tail into your vehicles seven pin female plug; turn your vehicles lights on and check your tail and brake lights, turn signals, running and interior lights for proper operation. Remove the pin-clip and pin from swivel mount and swing the jack into the up position. 

Depress paddle release on rear stabilizer and push the foot into the collapsed position. Swing stabilizer arm up into the lock position; repeat on opposite side of teardrop.

For camping set-up, perform the above steps in reverse.

For changing a flat tire, fully extend the stabilizer jacks at the rear of your Teardrop, and raise the trailer using the swivel jack. Remove flat tire and replace with spare tire.

Your most effect tool in avoiding difficulties and problems with your new So-Cal Teardrop is plain old “Common Sense”.

Maintenance:
-Hubs – Wheel bearings require annual re-packing.
-Wheels – Check lug nuts for tightness every 1000 miles.
-Tires – Regularly check tire pressure for proper inflation.
-Exterior – Wash with quality auto detergent, and water.
-Interior – Clean UV finished Baltic Birch with a clean, damp cloth.
-Counters – High-pressure laminate areas can be cleaned with window cleaner or mild household cleaner.
-Mattress – Removable cover is machine washable.
